Privacy policy

Last changed 12 October 2026

Here we explain which personal data we process, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have. The Swedish version applies if the two versions differ.

1. Who is responsible

Royals Media (Personalkläder, personalklader.se) is the controller for the processing described here.

2. Customers and their contact persons

What: name, email, phone and role of the people we deal with at our customers, the company's details, delivery and invoice addresses, orders, invoices, logos and what we have written to each other.

Why: to receive and deliver orders, invoice, give support and keep your account running. Legal basis: the contract with your company, and our legitimate interest in being able to perform it when you are the contact person rather than a party to the contract yourself. Bookkeeping records are kept because the law requires it.

How long: as long as your company is a customer. After that we keep the data for as long as we may need it for complaints and questions about deliveries, at most two years. Invoices and other bookkeeping records are kept for seven years under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act.

3. Employees in the customer portal — here we are a processor

When a company invites its employees to the portal, we store their name, email or phone, sizes, department and which garments they have requested and received.

Here the employer is the controller and we are the processor: we process the data on the employer's behalf and under the data processing agreement in our terms of sale. If you are an employee and want to know more, or want your data changed or deleted, contact your employer. You can change your own sizes via your personal link.

The data stays until your employer removes you from the portal or the customer relationship ends.

4. Companies we want to become a supplier to

We look for companies that may need workwear and contact them by email, phone, letter or visit. Our sales register mostly contains company details (name, registration number, address, industry, switchboard number and general email addresses), but also the name, role and work contact details of people in roles such as owner, manager or buyer, and notes about our contact with the company.

The data comes from public sources: business registers (for example Statistics Sweden), the company's own website, maps and business directories. We also use the fact that a company has job ads with the Swedish Public Employment Service as a sign that it is hiring — but we never save contact persons from the ads. Sometimes a person gives us the details themselves, for example during a visit.

Why: to offer the company our products (direct marketing to businesses). Legal basis: our legitimate interest. We consider that it outweighs the intrusion, because the contact concerns your professional role, the data is public and you can object at any time.

You can always say no. Every sales email has a link to unsubscribe, and you can also reply to the email or email kontakt@personalklader.se. We then mark that you do not want to be contacted, so that you are not contacted again when our lists are updated. If you want us to delete your data completely, tell us.

Our sales emails contain no tracking pixels and no images loaded from the internet — we do not record whether or when an email is opened. What we go by is whether you reply, book a meeting or visit the page we made for your company.

If we have made a page for your company (a link in an email or a QR code on a flyer), the link is the same for everyone at the company — not one per person. We count visits to the page and clicks on it on our server, without cookies, with the browser type and a scrambled (hashed) IP address — never the IP address itself. The visits are linked to the company, not to a person. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing whether the offer is of interest.

How long: as long as the company may be relevant as a customer. Details of a person who no longer has the role are removed when we find out.

5. If you apply to work as a salesperson

If you apply through our page for salespeople we store your name, email, phone, town, how many hours you can work and what you write about yourself. Legal basis: your consent, which you give when you send the application. We keep the application for six months and then delete it. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we will delete the application.

6. When you contact us

If you write to us via the contact form, book a meeting or email us, we keep what you send and our replies so that we can help you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you. We keep it as long as the matter requires, and after that as part of our history with the company.

If you leave a review we may publish it on the site under the name you chose to be shown with.

7. Visitor statistics and cookies

We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no tools from other companies (such as Google Analytics). Our statistics are our own.

Without consent: each page view is counted — which page, the previous page you came from, language and time. Nothing is stored in your browser and nothing can be linked to you.

With consent ("Accept" in the cookie box): we also store a random session ID in your browser's sessionStorage. It disappears when you close the tab and lets us see how a visit moves between pages. It is not linked to your name or account. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw below.

Always, because the site needs it to do what you ask for: the login cookie (pk-session) when you log in, the shopping cart and your choice in the cookie box, which are stored in your browser's localStorage, and your language choice (the NEXT_LOCALE cookie).

8. Who receives the data

We never sell personal data. Those who receive it do so to help us deliver:

  • the supplier of the garments — only what is needed to deliver the order,
  • shipping agents and carriers — the recipient's name, address and phone,
  • providers of servers, backups and email, who store data for us,
  • an AI service that helps us write replies to emails and summarise information about companies,
  • authorities when the law requires it, for example the Swedish Tax Agency.

Our suppliers process the data on our behalf and under our instructions. The AI service may process data outside the EU/EEA; such transfers must be covered by the safeguards required by the GDPR, for example the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Ask us if you want to know which safeguard applies to a particular supplier.

9. Your rights

You have the right to know which data we hold about you, to have errors corrected, to have data deleted when we no longer need it, to restrict the processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interest — for direct marketing always — and to receive data you have given us in a machine-readable format. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it.

Email kontakt@personalklader.se. We reply within one month.

If you are not happy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), www.imy.se.

10. Changes

We update this policy when we change how we process personal data. The date at the top shows the latest change.
